WASHINGTON — The National Paint & Coatings Association (NPCA) announced the availability of Paint & Coatings 2000: Review and Forecast (Third Edition), a report developed by the NPCA and Kline and Co., a consulting company specializing in the coatings industry. The report is described as a thorough study that covers market data, industry trends and key driving forces; offers forecasts for each coatings segment to the year 2003; and reviews key factors that impact the U.S., Canadian and Mexican markets for coatings products.

The report includes, for the first time, sections on Canada and Mexico, the NPCA said. The scope and content have been designed by NPCA members to provide comprehensive business-planning and strategic decision-making information for marketers of paints and coatings and suppliers of application equipment and raw materials. The report includes graphs and charts and provides concise, practical analyses of economic trends and their impact on the industry into the next millennium, the association said. The markets profiled include architectural coatings, product coatings-OEM and special-purpose coatings.

The report is offered to NPCA members for $825 for the first copy and $485 for each additional copy, and to non-members for $2,899 per copy. To order, contact the NPCA receptionist at 202/462.6272. Members can also order the report on NPCA’s website at www.paint.org/member/pubs/index.htm.
