PPG Industries plans to sell its headquarters complex, PPG Place, to Market Associates, an affiliate of the Hillman Co.

PPG Industries Inc., Pittsburgh, plans to sell its headquarters complex, PPG Place, to Market Associates, an affiliate of the Hillman Co. PPG said it will remain headquartered at the complex under a long-term lease. PPG Chairman and CEO Raymond W. LeBoeuf said the Hillman organization “can better realize the complex’s commercial potential.” Revenue from the sale will help the company in expanding its coatings, fiberglass, glass and chemicals businesses worldwide, he said. PPG Place was built between 1981 and 1984.
