The Geon and M.A. Hanna said the new company that they plan to launch as a result of their previously announced merger will be named PolyOne.

The Geon Co., Avon Lake, OH, and M.A. Hanna Co., Cleveland, said the new company that they plan to launch as a result of their previously announced merger will be named PolyOne Corp. The new company combines Hanna’s specialty polymers, which focus on the plastics and rubber industries, and Geon’s operations in vinyl compounds, specialty vinyl resins and formulations, engineered films, and other products.
