MONTATAIRE, France/MÜNSTER. Germany - Glasurit®, a BASF Coatings’ paint brand, recently opened its first Refinish Competence Centre for automotive refinish products in France in the city of Montataire. In the future, Glasurit will train nearly 400 customers and trainers at the new center on an area of 600 square meters.

 

The opening brings the total number of Glasurit automotive refinishing training centers throughout the world to 36. “This step will allow us to make our global training network even tighter and help us support our customers even better,” said Kevin McDermott, who is responsible for Glasurit training all over the world.

 

The new RCC is located in the Marches de l’Oise industrial park. At the new center, customers will learn how to operate body shops more quickly and efficiently and at a higher level of quality. The RCC features two different workshops, two spray booths, two prep bays, a room with infrared, a spectrophotometer and a paint mixing area, as well as two classrooms.
