WACKER POLYMERS is changing the name of its Airflex®, Flexbond®, Flexcryl® and Vinac® products.

MUNICH, Germany – WACKER POLYMERS is changing the name of its Airflex®, Flexbond®, Flexcryl® and Vinac® products. All vinyl acetate homopolymer, vinyl acetate-ethylene and acrylic copolymer grades will be known as VINNAPAS®. All copolymer dispersions that contain vinyl chloride will be renamed VINNOL®. The aim of the name changes is to simplify communications with customers, distributors and research facilities worldwide via a uniform nomenclature.

Last year, WACKER acquired Air Products and Chemicals Inc.’s shares in Air Products Polymers (APP) and Wacker Polymer Systems (WPS), its two former joint ventures. The former APP product names are now being replaced by WACKER POLYMERS’ uniform designations for its established product families.
