Akzo Nobel Acquiring Distributor, Sells Resins Business in France
ARNHEM, The Netherlands - Akzo Nobel's Decorative Coatings business announced an agreement to acquire Timpe & Mock, reported to be the second-largest architectural-paint wholesaler in Germany.
Akzo Nobel also announced the sale of its French industrial resins business Casco Industrie SnC to Derivados Forestales S.A. of Spain.
Akzo Nobel did not disclose financial terms of either transaction.
