TWINSBURG, OH — SKW-MBT Management Inc. said its previously announced sale of the business and assets of ORD Products Inc. to Kool Seal Inc. does not affect a commercial-distribution agreement with ChemRex Inc. involving ORD Products’ Thoro line of products for concrete and masonry surfaces.

The Thoro product line will continue to be manufactured and marketed by ChemRex, an SKW-MBT operating company. Under the sale agreement, Kool Seal will market the Thoro consumer retail product line to national consumer retail outlets, SKW-MBT said.

Kool Seal Inc., a manufacturer of reflective roof coatings based in Twinsburg, OH, is acquiring the assets of ORD Products, including the Snow Roof Systems brands, from SKW-MBT Management. ORD Products represents the North and South American construction chemicals operations of SKW Trostberg AG of Germany.
