KIRKLAND, WA — Van Waters & Rogers Inc. announced a change in the company’s name to Vopak USA Inc. in the United States and Vopak Canada Ltd. in Canada, effective April 1. The changes are the result of the integration of Van Waters & Rogers and other companies operated by Royal Vopak of The Netherlands, a global distributor of chemicals and other materials. Vopak recently acquired Ellis & Everard, a distribution group based in the United Kingdom.

Van Waters & Rogers also announced changes in the company’s organizational structure in North America, which continues to be headed by Darwin H. Simpson as president. Ron Morton, senior vice president, will direct Industrial Chemicals-West, and Mark Kramer, also a senior vice president, will head Industrial Chemicals-East. Regional vice presidents are Brian Rinehart, Northwest; Pat Walker, Southwest; Al Cummins, North Central; Terry Hill, South Central; Jim Skelton, Northeast; and Sarah Dixon, Southeast. Larry Bullock remains president of Vopak Canada Ltd.
