Minerals Technologies Inc., New York, said its Specialty Minerals Inc. subsidiary will invest more than $10 million to expand production facilities for ground calcium carbonate in Lucerne Valley, CA, and Canaan, CT. Specialty Minerals is a supplier of calcium carbonate use in paint and building materials.
