Lintech International has promoted Stephen Alberstadt to Industry manager for Rubber, Plastics and Adhesives and Mark Miller to Industry manager for Specialty Chemicals. Charles "Chuck" Churn has joined the company as a sales representative for Rubber, Plastics and Adhesives in North and South Carolina and Virginia. Lintech, based in Macon, GA, is a specialty chemical distributor in the southeastern United States.

Edward E. Barr announced plans to retire as chairman of Sun Chemical Group B.V. on Jan. 1, 2003. Succeeding Barr as chairman will be Wes Lucas, the company's president and CEO. Barr will remain Sun Chemical's senior director of Kodak Polychrome Graphics, the company's prepress joint venture with Eastman Kodak Co.

Raabe Corp. has named Crystal Halweg Marketing coordinator, with responsibility for marketing, public-relations and advertising activities for the company's Spectrafill and Precision Color markets.

Neil Hawkins has joined Western Equipment Co. as a sales representative based at the company's Oakland, CA, facility.

Timothy J. Niland has joined Spraylat Corp. as Sales and Marketing director for the company's Powder Business Unit. Niland has more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience in the coatings industry.

Silberline Manufacturing Co. Inc. has promoted Lisa Passon to assistant Marketing Communications manager.

Dyneon has named Ian Rodricks Marketing manager for the Specialty Additives business unit.

Sam Rumfola has succeeded Don Smith as president and chief operating officer of TCR Industries, a distribution company based in La Palma, CA. Smith has been named vice president, Finance, and also will assume sales responsibilities. Glenn Carlson has joined the company as branch manager of operations in the Pacific Northwest, and Troy Wickersheim was named a sales representative in Southern California.

Degussa has named Lauren Schulte Account manager, Northeast Territory, for the Catalyst business line of the company's Catalysts and Initiators business unit.

Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings has promoted Jim Stevens to Market Development director - Aerospace and Military, Stuart Mack to technical director - Aerospace and Military, and Dallas Finch to National Sales manager - Aerospace. George McCarthy, formerly Business Unit director, has been named vice president of Sales of the Chemical Division of Sherwin-Williams Coatings. Stevens joined Sherwin-Williams six years ago as an account executive following the acquisition of Pratt & Lambert Inc. Mack has held technical positions with Enmar Coatings, Ameron International Corp., Pratt & Lambert, and Sherwin-Williams Aerospace. Finch was formerly Aerospace Coatings Facility and Technical director, and has held a variety of technical, marketing and management positions with Sherwin-Williams' aerospace, industrial and marine coatings businesses.

Hercules Inc.'s Aqualon Division has named Michelle Verovich Industry representative for the U.S. paint industry, with sales responsibility for the northeastern Unted States.
