MFIC manufacturing of the Zinger line of horizontal media mills will be transferred from the Michigan-based Epworth Mill Division to the Morehouse-COWLES plant in Fullerton, CA.

MFIC Corp., Newton, MA, said that, as part of its ongoing program of integrating its Epworth Mill and Morehouse-COWLES divisions, manufacturing of the Zinger line of horizontal media mills will be transferred from the Michigan-based Epworth Mill Division to the Morehouse-COWLES plant in Fullerton, CA. The Zinger mill will become a Morehouse-COWLES product offering. The company said the move will result in reduced costs and improved access to testing and quality control programs at the Fullerton facility. The line of grinding media offered by the Epworth Mill Division will continue to be sold through a sales office in South Haven, MI. Manufacturing of new ball mills and the repair business for those mills and related equipment will remain at the South Haven facility for the immediate future.
