Bayer has received the 2000 Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award.

Bayer Corp., Pittsburgh, has received the 2000 Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award from the U.S. EPA for the development of nearly solvent-free waterborne industrial two-component polyurethane coatings raw materials. The EPA presents five Green Chemistry Awards annually.
