Acima, a unit of Rohm and Haas Co., Philadelphia, said the U.S. EPA has granted registration for the use of Acima's Rocima 607 microbiocide. The action permits use of the preservative in waterborne coatings, slurries, pastes, adhesives, and joint compounds, the company said. The product offers broad-spectrum in-can preservation and low VOCs, and is metal-salt and APE free, the company said.
