Solutia has completed the sale of its polymer modifiers business and related manufacturing facilities to Ferro.

ST. LOUIS — Solutia Inc. has completed the sale of its polymer modifiers business and related manufacturing facilities to Ferro Corp. The sale includes the Santicizer line of plasticizers, Solutia’s Delaware River Plant in Bridgeport, NJ, and other assets. Ferro also acquired manufacturing units located at plants in Wales and Belgium. Solutia retained a production unit at the Delaware River plant used to manufacture flame retardants.
