Heubach GmbH & Co., Langelsheim, Germany, announced a pigment-manufacturing agreement with Avecia involving the transfer of Avecia’s manufacturing technology to Heubach’s pigment-production facilities at Ankleshwar, India, and the phase-out of pigment manufacturing operations at Avecia’s Grangemouth, Scotland, site. Heubach will manufacture Avecia’s existing line of pigments on an exclusive basis, and Avecia will continue to provide marketing and technical-support services for those products and an expanded range of organic pigments produced by Heubach in India. Heubach is a supplier of pigments, pigment dispersions and colorants.
