The business, based in Vilvoorde, Belgium, had sales of more than 7 million euros in 2003. Under the sale agreement, Fenzi will continue to toll produce coatings for concrete roof tiles, Akzo Nobel said.

The company also said it is in the "final stages" of divesting its Vilvoorde general-industrial coatings activities, and is planning to relocate the site's coil-coatings operations to another plant in Europe.
