TROY, MI - Paint & Coatings Industry (PCI) magazine announced program plans for the Seventh International Coatings for Plastics Symposium and Exhibition, scheduled for June 7-9 at the Michigan State Management Education Center, Troy, MI.

Highlights will include a plenary address by David Reed, Material manager at General Motors Corp., on "Trends and Challenges in Coatings for Automotive Plastics," and a joint keynote address by Rose Ryntz, Visteon Corp., and Phil Yaneff, DuPont Canada, titled "Attaining Adhesion to Automotive Plastics."

The PCI-sponsored symposium and exhibition are being organized by Technical Conference Management, and the event is endorsed by the National Paint & Coatings Association.

Additional symposium-program highlights will be a luncheon talk by Jim Jakubowski, Bayer Corp., on "Meeting the Challenges of Today's Automotive Market Drivers." Technical-session topics will include adhesion, formulation, environmental standards, and surface-damage resistance, e.g., scratch/mar.

Also planned is a Sunday evening wine and cheese reception at the Troy Northfield Hilton, located adjacent to the symposium site, and a tutorial on "Colorant Effect on Molding and Aesthetics," presented by Ferro Corp.
