MEDINA, OH -- RPM International Inc.’s Tremco Inc. subsidiary has acquired Koch Waterproofing Solutions Inc., a major manufacturer of basement-waterproofing materials for the residential new-construction market.

Koch Waterproofing Solutions, Reynoldsburg, OH, has sales of approximately $30 million in 2002.

RPM said it will operate Koch Waterproofing Solutions as the Tremco Barrier Solutions Division, a stand-alone business within the Tremco Group Sealant/Weatherproofing Division. RPM said it would retain the Koch Waterproofing Solutions management team, headed by Mark Patterson.

Tremco is a supplier of roofing systems, sealants and weatherproofing materials for the commercial and industrial construction markets.
