SPOKANE, WA — Columbia Paint & Coatings has acquired its longtime dealer Columbia Paint & Decorating, located in Soldotna, AK. The business will be converted to a company-owned distribution center, Columbia Paint & Coatings said.

The dealer business was launched in 1975 by Roger and Valorie Rosin, and the business helped Columbia build a strong presence in the Kenai Peninsula market, said Steve Gordon, Columbia Paint & Coatings executive vice president. Mike Seynei, an account executive with Columbia Paint, has been named district manager in Soldotna.
