Huntsman Polyurethanes has completed an expansion of polyurethane raw materials production capacity.

Huntsman Polyurethanes, Geismar, LA, has completed an expansion of polyurethane raw materials production capacity at the company’s Geismar joint-venture manufacturing complex, increasing the plant’s total annual capacity for methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) by 285 million pounds. The plant, operated by Huntsman’s venture partner, Rubicon Inc., now has annual MDI production capacity of 840 million pounds.
