Arch Chemicals Inc., Norwalk, CT, announced the startup of expanded capacity for the production of amine-terminated polyols at the company’s Brandenburg, KY, manufacturing facility. The company said the first product commercialized as a result of the expansion is a polyoxypropylenediamine used in urethanes for spray-elastomer applications. End uses for polyols manufactured at the site include tank coatings, truck-bed liners and other materials, the company said.
