Akzo Nobel Aerospace Coatings, Waukegan, IL, has been named a member of the U.S. EPA’s National Environmental Achievement Track. The program is designed to recognize environmental leadership in the public and private sectors. The Waukegan facility last year also obtained STAR status from the Occupational Health and Safety Administration’s Voluntary Protection Program, based on an evaluation of the company’s safety practices.
