Millennium Chemicals, Red Bank, NJ, announced that it would not exercise its right to purchase Occidental Chemical Co.'s interest in the joint-venture business Equistar on a ratable basis. Lyondell Chemical Co. also holds a stake in the business.

Resolution Performance Products LLC, Houston, announced plans to launch the EPIKURE brand for the company's global epoxy curing agent product line. The move consolidates the former EPI-CURE brand used in North America and the EPIKURE brand employed in Europe and other overseas markets. No other product name changes will occur, the company said. The action will provide users with "more systematic product packages" that include epoxy resins and curing agents, Resolution said.
