SAN RAMON, Calif. - Solutia Inc. has appointed Dowd & Guild, Inc., as its newly authorized distributor for Butvar® polyvinyl butyral resins and waterborne dispersions in California, Nevada and Arizona. Dowd & Guild will locally stock Butvar PVB resins at its City of Commerce, Calif., warehouse. Dowd & Guild will manage the distribution sales of Butvar PVB dispersions via Solutia's direct-shipment program.
