Eastman Chemical and Henderson China Holdings Ltd. announced the launch of a 50-50 joint venture, Asia BizNet Co.

Eastman Chemical Co., Kingsport, TN, and Henderson China Holdings Ltd. announced the launch of a 50-50 joint venture, Asia BizNet Co. Ltd., that will invest in online business-to-business ventures in the China region. The companies said Asia BizNet will provide web-based, neutral e-business solutions to chemical and chemical-related industries with exchanges and services designed to facilitate online transactions between Asian and western companies. Henderson China, based in Hong Kong, is a major property developer in China.
