WICKLIFFE, OH — The Lubrizol Corp. has acquired ROSS Chem Inc., a supplier of antifoam and defoaming agents used in coatings, ink, textiles, and other products. Terms were not disclosed. ROSS Chem, a privately held company based in Fountain Inn, SC, had revenue of approximately $12 million in 2000.

Lubrizol, based in Wickliffe, OH, is a supplier of coatings additives, including rheology modifiers, defoamers and dispersants.
