Albermarle Corp. said its affiliate company Martinswerk GmbH will increase production capacity for fine precipitated aluminum hydroxide (ATH) at Martinswerk's plant in Bergheim, Germany.

Albermarle Corp., Baton Rouge, LA, said its affiliate company Martinswerk GmbH will increase production capacity for fine precipitated aluminum hydroxide (ATH) at Martinswerk's plant in Bergheim, Germany. The expansion at the plant, reported to be the largest ATH production facility in the world, is scheduled for completion in early 2003. ATH is used as a flame retardant in various materials.
