TWINSBURG, OH - Cleveland Steel Container Corp. has acquired the steel-pail business of Norton Packaging Inc., Hayward, CA. The acquisition includes Norton's steel-pail manufacturing facility near Oakland, CA.

Cleveland Steel Container said the acquisition significantly expands its capabilities and presence in the western United States. The company manufactures a range of steel pails at facilities in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Illinois.
