TEDDINGTON, UK — John Bernie, managing director of the Paint Research Association (PRA) since 1986, has stepped down from the post due to ill health, the association announced.

John Marshall, company secretary, has assumed responsibility for administrative functions on an interim basis, assisted in research-related matters by Jon Graystone and other senior staff members, the association said. An announcement will be issued when a new managing director is named.
