BASF Corp.’s Automotive OEM Coatings business group, Southfield, MI, said its manufacturing sites in Belvidere, NJ; Morganton, NC; and Tultitlan, Mexico, have received ISO 14001 certification. Three other sites received certification in 1999 — in Southfield, MI; Greenville, OH; and Windsor, Ontario. ISO 14001 is an international quality standard for management of systems involving environmental and health issues. Certification requires extensive evaluation of procedures, programs and practices in the areas of environmental policy, planning, implementation, and operation.
