CLEVELAND - ICI Paints has appointed Larry Porcellato, the company's chief operating officer, CEO of ICI Paints' North American Operations. Porcellato succeeds Ian R. McMahon, who has left the company to pursue another opportunity in Europe, ICI Paints said.

Porcellato previously was executive vice president of Stores, and directed operations of ICI Paints' company-owned stores nationwide. He joined ICI Paints in November 2000, and formerly was president of the Mechanics Tools Division of Stanley Tools. He also has held the positions of president and chief operating officer of Rubbermaid Home Products.
