Eastman Chemical Co., Kingsport, TN, announced plans to move the coatings-technology organization currently located at the company's Carpentersville, IL, facility and consolidate those operations with the coatings-technology organization located at Eastman's Kingsport, TN, headquarters. Eastman said it plans to expand latex-production operations at the Carpentersville site, which was acquired as part of Eastman's acquisition of McWhorter Technologies in 2000.
