LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Society for Coatings Technology announced plans for the society's first annual LASCT Technical Conference and exhibition, scheduled for Oct. 1-2 at the Sequoia Conference Center, Buena Park, CA. The conference replaces the former Biennial Western Coatings Show, the society said.

Highlights will include more than 30 technical presentations; a manufacturing seminar; sessions on industrial and architectural coatings and raw-materials developments; a regulatory update session; and a golf outing scheduled for Oct. 3.
