ICI Paints, Cleveland, announced that its Glidden brand offered what the company says is the paint industry's first live online color seminar, "Color and Design 101." Barbara Richardson, ICI Paints color expert and director of Color Marketing, led seminar participants through the color- and product-selection process in an online session that also included interactive participant polls, expert suggestions for designing with inspirational elements, and examples of real-life decorating dilemmas and solutions. Participants received a complimentary copy of Glidden's Color@Home II CD-ROM, which allows homeowners to digitally re-color photos of their own rooms and homes.
