CLEVELAND - ICI Paints said an annual charity golf tournament sponsored by the company raised nearly $200,000 for City of Hope, a biomedical research, treatment and educational institution dedicated to the prevention and cure of cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

The event, held at Beechmont Country Club in Pepper Pike, OH, was the company's seventh annual charity golf tournament in support of City of Hope.

ICI last year was added to City of Hope's "Million Dollar Wall," a list of companies that have given more than $1 million to support the institution through the Hardware/Home Improvement Industry, City of Hope's primary industry support group.

"I cannot say enough about the generosity of our employees, vendors and customers who, despite a tough economy, recognized the need to continue to support the important work of City of Hope," said Gary Anklowitz, ICI Paints vice president of Sales.
