ATLANTA - Cytec Surface Specialties, a leading global supplier of resin technology for the coatings and adhesives industries, has completed the renovation of its powder coatings applications lab in Smyrna, Ga. The refurbished facility will enable the company to enhance applications support for customers, reduce time for developmental experiments and manufacturing scale-up of new powder coating products, and improve the overall safety of the lab's operations.

The lab has a full range of capabilities for the formulation, extrusion (mono- and twin-screw), processing, spray, cure (thermal or IR/UV), and performance testing (appearance, chemical resistance, mechanical and environmental) of Cytec Surface Specialties' high-performing portfolio of resin technologies for powder coatings.
