SALT LAKE CITY -- Huntsman Corp. has completed the purchase of ICI plc's debt and equity holdings in Huntsman International Holdings L.L.C. and the acquisition of the minority positions of two investment firms in Huntsman International Holdings.

With the buyouts, HMP Equity Holdings Corp., a business controlled by the Huntsman family, owns 100% of all principal Huntsman businesses. Huntsman said the transactions represent a "final step of a financial restructuring" launched in early 2002.
