The Dow Chemical Co. expects to complete a capacity expansion and process-technology improvements at epoxy-resin and epichlorohydrin production facilities by the end of the year.

The Dow Chemical Co., Midland, MI, expects to complete a capacity expansion and process-technology improvements at epoxy-resin and epichlorohydrin production facilities by the end of the year. The expansions, in Freeport, TX, will add 90 million pounds of liquid epoxy resin capacity and 250 million pounds of epichlorohydrin capacity annually, the company said.
