CLEVELAND - Mary G. Brodie, retired Division director, Technical Facilities, with The Sherwin-Williams Co. and long active with the Federation of Societies for Coatings Technology's educational foundation, died July 23 in Cleveland following a brief illness.

A strong supporter of coatings-education programs, Ms. Brodie was a longtime member of the board of trustees of the Federation's Coatings Industry Education Foundation (CIEF) and its predecessor organization, the Paint Research Institute, and was president of the CIEF from 1996 to 2002.
