BASF announced the appointment of Silke Wischeropp as President, General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer, effective June 1, 2025. She will lead the company’s Division Corporate Legal, Compliance & Insurance, based in Ludwigshafen.

Wischeropp previously served as a member of the Executive Committee and Group General Counsel at Archroma Management GmbH in Basel.

She succeeds Matthew Lepore, who will leave the company at his own request.
