Evonik introduced TEGO® Wet 288, a substrate wetting additive designed for waterborne and radiation-curable inks and coatings. It offers stable performance in high pH waterborne formulations and supports wetting without compromising reprintability or glueability in radiation-cured systems.
In inkjet inks, the additive helps reduce surface tension and maintains effectiveness over time. It also meets broad food contact compliance requirements, enabling use in food packaging applications.
The additive is part of Evonik’s portfolio of solvent-free solutions for inks and varnishes.
