The Alliance for Chemical Distribution announced the promotion of Brian Callahan to senior vice president of government affairs. He will oversee both the legislative and regulatory departments for the organization.

Callahan previously served as vice president of legislative affairs and joined ACD in 2021. Before that, he worked as government affairs manager at the National Safety Council and spent a decade focused on global education policy for nonprofit organizations. He began his career in Washington, D.C., as an intern for former Congresswoman Jackie Speier.
