The Eastern Coatings Federation announced that its panel discussion, "Investing Financial & Intellectual Capital in an Ever-Changing Market," will take place on May 14 during the Eastern Coatings Show (ECS) 2025, the largest coatings event on the East Coast.

The panel will address challenges in making strategic investment decisions amid a rapidly evolving industry. Experts from the scientific and legal fields will explore key risks, opportunity discovery, and strategies for protecting intellectual property.

Panelists include:

• George R. Pilcher, vice president, The ChemQuest Group
• Daniel Pickard, international trade and national security practice group leader, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney
• Dr. David Witker, senior scientist specializing in IP, Benjamin Moore

“The experts on the panel bring perspectives from across the industry, which will really benefit those that attend,” said Chuck Jones, president of the Eastern Coatings Federation. “The topic is very timely and relevant to all commercial and technical roles in the coatings value chain.”

The panel will take place Wednesday, May 14, from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. during the Eastern Coatings Show, held at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City, NJ, from May 13-15, 2025.
