Pilot Chemical Names VP of Growth and Innovation

Pilot Chemical Company appointed Graeme Biggin as vice president of growth and innovation, effective immediately. With 28 years of experience in the oleo and specialty chemical industry, Biggin will lead the company’s growth strategy and drive innovation. He will report to Christian MacIver, president and chief operating officer.

“Graeme is an experienced leader who knows how to turn market trends and unmet customer needs into growth opportunities, from ideation through commercialization,” MacIver said. “We are thrilled to welcome him to the company. His expertise in business development, product innovation, and customer relationship management will bring significant value to our customers and the Pilot team.”
Biggin previously served as president and co-founder of Natural Sweeteners and held leadership roles at Durabilis Sweeteners and Jacob Sterns & Sons Inc. He has worked extensively in business and product management across the U.S., Asia, and the U.K. He holds a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the University of Glasgow and completed Ph.D. education in organic chemistry and biochemistry at the University of Edinburgh.
Biggin will be based at Pilot Chemical Company’s headquarters in West Chester, Ohio, and its Technical and Innovation Center in Sharonville, Ohio.
