AkzoNobel announced the nomination of Dr. Hans-Joachim Müller to its Supervisory Board, pending shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on April 25, 2025. Müller currently serves as Chair of the Supervisory Board of TIB Chemicals AG and is a Supervisory Board member at Lanxess AG.
“With Hans-Joachim joining, we look forward to continuing to create long-term value for all our stakeholders,” said Ben Noteboom, Chair of AkzoNobel’s Supervisory Board. “He brings a wealth of knowledge in science and experience in the chemicals industry.”
At the AGM, three Supervisory Board members—Patrick Thomas, Dick Sluimers, and Byron Grote—will retire after completing their tenures. Noteboom thanked them for their contributions during a period of transformation for the company.
