PPG announced its inclusion on Barron’s 100 Most Sustainable U.S. Companies 2025 list, ranking No. 62 among the 1,000 largest publicly traded companies. This marks the second consecutive year that PPG has been the only paints and coatings manufacturer recognized.

PPG’s recent sustainability initiatives include:

• New sustainable product innovations, such as the PPG DURANEXT™ portfolio of electron beam (EB) and ultraviolet (UV) curable coatings, designed to reduce energy usage, water consumption, and CO₂ emissions.
• Continued investment in the Colorful Communities® program, with 58 projects completed in 27 countries in 2024.
• Advancing toward 2030 emissions reduction targets, including a solar installation at PPG’s Caivano, Italy, site, reducing CO₂ emissions by 390 metric tons annually and cutting the facility’s operating costs by 15%.
