Ashland to Increase Prices on 1-4 Butanediol and Solvents

Ashland announced a global price increase for 1-4 Butanediol (BDO) and select solvents, effective March 15, 2025, or as agreements allow. The adjustments include:
- 1-4 Butanediol (BDO): Minimum $0.33 per kg
- Gamma-Butyrolactone (BLO®): Minimum $0.33 per kg
- N-Methyl-Pyrrolidone (NMP): Minimum $0.40 per kg
- Tetrahydrofuran (THF): Minimum $0.40 per kg
The price increases will support Ashland’s ability to provide high-quality products and services across its coatings, construction, energy, and specialty chemicals markets.
