Industry Groups Partner to Strengthen Chemical Supply Chain

The Alliance for Chemical Distribution (ACD) and the International Warehouse Logistics Association (IWLA) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU), effective February 21, 2025, to expand cooperation on supply chain issues, increase mutual awareness of legislative and regulatory developments, and enhance collaboration on services offered by both organizations.
Following the agreement, ACD President and CEO Eric R. Byer emphasized the importance of coordination in navigating economic and regulatory challenges. “This MOU underscores our commitment to upholding a higher level of coordination, support, and advocacy for our industries, our supply chain, our members, and our customers.”
IWLA President and CEO Jay D. Strother added, “By improving the cooperation between IWLA and ACD, we can enhance safety throughout the chemical supply chain. This MOU demonstrates our intent of working together to provide a higher level of information and service to our members.”
