ROSS Mixers introduced a PFA-coated Ribbon Blender designed for sensitive applications where stainless steel or carbon steel may not be suitable. Featuring a 5 ft³ working capacity, the blender’s interior components—including the trough, double ribbon agitator, stub shafts, and valve funnel—are coated with black PFA to prevent product contamination, resist corrosion, and improve material release. The dust-tight knife gate valve ensures smooth discharge, while operator-friendly Variable Frequency Drive controls provide forward/reverse functionality for versatile processing of powders, pellets, and slurries. The PFA coating is available as an option across various ROSS Ribbon Blenders and Paddle Blenders.
