Kymera International has announced its acquisition of Coating Center Castrop GmbH (CCC), a thermal spray and precision machining company based in Germany. The move is part of Kymera's strategy to expand its Surface Technologies business and increase its presence in the European market.
CCC provides a range of thermal spray and machining services for the aerospace, marine, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors. The company is known for its advanced engineering and ability to design, fabricate and finish high-value components. By acquiring CCC, Kymera will be able to offer its European customers a wider range of thermal spray solutions and localized support.
The acquisition will also allow Kymera to leverage CCC's existing capabilities and expand its own technological offerings. This includes the addition of a European HaloJet ID HVOF service center, which will enable Kymera to provide localized support for its aerospace customers.
Kymera's CEO, Barton White, highlighted the company's focus on providing high-performing and customized thermal spray solutions.
"The acquisition of CCC further solidifies our ability to provide regional service on a global scale and support our strategic growth initiatives in the aerospace industry with our HaloJet ID HVOF™ technology," said White.
The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
